Indiana Lottery

The Hoosier Lottery came into being after a state referendum in 1988 where 62% voted for its introduction. Six months later the first game was drawn which was eagerly watched by 8.19 million ticket holders. The Hoosier Lottery is a member of the Multi-State Lottery Association that operates the Mega Millions and Power Ball games. Since its inception, the Indian lottery has distributed over $5 billion to good causes throughout the state.
