Virgin Islands Lottery

The Virgin Islands lottery is one of the oldest draw-based games of any US territory. It was established in 1937 and is headquartered in Charlotte Amalie on St. Thomas. Over the years, more games have been added, of which many of scratch-cards. The VI Lottery is also a member of the Multi-State Lottery Association, which entitles it to provide the Powerball and Mega Millions games, and the Caribbean lottery. Ticket proceeds are a major source of income for the US territory and are in fact one its main revenue producers.
