Delaware Lottery

The Delaware lottery was established in 1974 by the state government and signed into law by then Governor, Sherman W. Tribbit. In October of 1975, lottery tickets were put on sale for weekly drawings, which was followed by the first instant game, Diamond Instant Dollars. Others were added over the years including Mega Millions, Powerball, Hot Lotto and Lucky for Life, of which all are still played to this day.
