Oklahoma Lottery

Oklahoma has been permitted to run lotteries since 2004 when voters approved the introduction of a state-based game. As a result, a lottery commission was set up with the purpose of administering and supervising operations. Since then, Oklahoma has become a member of the Multi-State Lottery Association which entitles it to offer state-wide games such as Mega Millions and Power Ball. Like so many US states, education is a big priority with a large portion of ticket proceeds directed to various projects in that area.
